Steamed Greens


Ingredients:


Any combination of greens, such as:

Red mustard, green mustard, chards, kale(s), rappini, kohlrabi, radish greens, turnip greens, collards, dandelion greens, beet greens, wild greens, spinach (avoid most lettuces since they will get mushy)
Variety is key.

Lemon
Dulse Flakes (optional)
Desired Seasonings



Clean greens and remove any dark areas cutting off a small portion of the ends of the vegetables.

Place into a steamer and lightly steam for about 8-10 minutes. Do not boil them in water. If using spinach only steam for about 5 minutes. Remove and top with olive oil, coconut oil or macadamia nut oil. Squeeze lemon, add sea salt, cayenne pepper and dulse flakes on top.

Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator and mixed with a fresh salad the next day!
